About Me

In 2003, I decided to raise my three daughters and focus on their initiatives while in the Katonah-Lewisboro School district. Volunteer work in various giving circles that benefit not-for-profits in Westchester became my focus, as well as working with my alma mater, Fordham University.

When my oldest started the college process (2015), I worked with an education consultant who guided us step by step. I am convinced that this decision saved us from becoming overwhelmed and frustrated, and allowed us to focus on our specific needs. My coursework through UCLA has added to my knowledge in the ever-changing field of college admissions and I am passionate about sharing my expertise. As I approach graduating the program in November 2019, I have realized my goals: to relieve students and families from the stress of the process, to find the right fit for students, and to continue counseling as they transition through freshman year.

I have concluded my coursework in UCLA’s Certificate in College Counseling and will be completing my Practicum with the College Guidance Department at The Ursuline School in New Rochelle this fall. My professional development is continuous and includes VIRTUS training as well as College Board training for Counselors. I am a member of WPRCA (Westchester, Putnam, Rockland Counselors Association) and NYSACAC and will be seeking membership with NACAC in the coming months.
